Spark by Hilton Artesia

My daughter and I were traveling back to her home in Ruidoso on 6/7/24 when we drove into the madness and chaos of the forest fires in that town. Once we got close we were turned away and told to evacuate. We immediately went to Roswell and started looking for a hotel they were disappearing like crazy and my daughter found Artesia which was about 45 min for us we went online and found this hotel we tried to book online and it didnt confirm of course because everything was getting booked so fast. We drove over late and the lady that helped us was so kind and generous. We had our dogs and they let us bring them in, didnt charge us. Then when we saw the hotel and how nice it was we were so thankful and appreciative. We heard them continue to work all night helping evacuees. I cannot say enough good words for this hotel and I will recommend it to everyone and plan to go back to just for a relaxing weekend one day. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS!!!!

My review isn't based on a 5 star resort expectation. Rather, it is based on what could be hoped for by an average traveler. In that regard Hotel Artesia was excellent. Food was like home, it was clean, comfortable and had convenient, clean laundry capability and ice. Nice, caring, and capable staff capped it all off. It was the best we had on our 10 day road trip.

They had continental breakfast it was good. The location was perfect for us since it was really close to restaurants and the location we had to be at for the next days.

Everything here was excellent. Very very clean rooms. Bed quality and furniture is good. The carpet was clean, the blinds the curtains were all clean. I can’t express that enough.

Lobby was very inviting.The area is used for breakfast . A breakfast is included their is plenty of room . In the evening can enjoy a nice alcoholic drink at the bar area .
